国会议员蒋振宇谴责万锦一商场出现的仇视亚裔涂鸦 MP Paul Chiang condemn anti-Asian graffiti in a Markham mall

在上个周末，万锦市Markville商场外的墙上出现具有反亚裔之仇恨言论的涂鸦。万锦-于人村国会议员蒋振宇（Paul Chiang）办公室在收到报告之后，立即采取行动与商场管理方进行了联络以了解情况。 目前，约克区警方正在调查这起事件。

1月17日，国会议员蒋振宇在社交媒体上发表如下声明：

“仇恨和偏执在万锦-于人村不应有立足之地。 获知在Markville商场墙上出现涂鸦，被喷漆涂上针对亚裔的仇恨严厉，令我非常震惊。感谢 Markville 购物中心响应我们的呼吁，及时将其移除。 #StopAsianHate #停止针对亚裔的仇恨

MP Paul Chiang condemn anti-Asian graffiti in a Markham mall

During the past weekend, some anti-Asian hate messages were painted on a wall outside of Markville mall. The office of Paul Chiang, MP for Markham-Unionville, received a report from a constituent and took immediate action to contact the mall management to learn about the situation. Currently, Police in York Region is investigating the incidence.  

On January 17, MP Paul Chiang made the following statement on social media:  

“Hate and bigotry has no place in Markham-Unionville. I am horrified to learn that graffiti was used to spray paint anti-Asian hate speech on a wall outside of Markville mall. Thank you, Markville mall for promptly responding to our call to have it removed.

“Law enforcement officials have been made aware of this incident and are actively investigating. I condemn any and all forms of hate speech. Canada’s diversity is our strength and we must continue to stand against hate, injustice and bigotry.
