第九届文人时代文化艺术节开幕式于2024年10月26日在万锦市政府隆重举行,来自热爱文人文化艺术的几代人参加了雅集活动,共襄盛举。

的金雨霏的《美哉 诗经》,李思远的《春望词四首》、王子的《将进酒》 ,王雯的《现代文与文言文》 ,还有付艾米的 《 念奴娇赤壁怀古》。
今年茶道讲座的主题是宋式点茶,
来自明茗堂Ming Tea’s Training的
文俪洁介绍了宋代饮茶方式-点茶,致敬一种深邃的生活美学。从讲解点茶艺术的优雅与审美,而理解宋朝人修心养性,精神升华的心路历程。 在古琴家朱彦晏演绎的南宋名曲《潇湘水云》琴声中, 文俪洁完美展示了四雅-焚香、插花、挂画、点茶,让观众静心欣赏一场茶艺表演。
朱彦晏接着为意犹未尽的观众演奏了隋唐时代大将军贺若弼作曲的《良宵引》和流行于大明王朝的《平沙落雁》。
市政大厅中, 李祥民先生的诗书艺术展和少儿绘画作品展览吸引了众多参观者。
书法作品、篆刻作品、手绘作品演示颇受欢迎。
陈卓演奏的钢琴曲为大厅营造出浪漫气息。
本届艺术节主题为《简约之美》的网络诗文朗诵大赛和绘画艺术大赛正在进行之中,10月31日将关闭上传通道。

11月3日万锦剧院将上演一场精彩绝伦的古典音乐会,汇聚传统雅乐、交响音乐、舞蹈、武术等综合领域表演艺术的本地艺术家,呈现世界文化遗产与当代艺术的精彩碰撞,让传统文人文化在社区中传承发展而成为加拿大顶流文化。
参加演出协办机构有多伦多雅乐艺术中心、红枫华乐团、CAST青年交响乐团、MOMA艺术中心、MK Singing School、Dan Drama 中文小剧场、晓磊琵琶工作室等众多艺术教育机构。

The 9th Age of Literati Culture Festival’s opening ceremony was grandly held at the Markham Civic Center on October 26, 2024! Generations of enthusiasts for Literati arts assembly to celebrate this annual cultural event with an elegant gathering.
Ms. Yanyan Zhu, Chair of Canada One Family Network (COFN), warmly welcomed community cultural and educational organizations to join the festival’s large-scale classical music performance. She extended heartfelt thanks to the Department of Heritage Canada and the City of Markham for their strong support, as well as to community co-organizers and sponsors.
Markham Councilor Amanda Yeung Collucci, representing the Mayor of Markham, delivered a speech warmly congratulating the success of the annual arts festival. Councilors Isa Lee and Richel Liu were also in attendance to extend their congratulations. MP Jean Yip sent a congratulatory letter on behalf of the federal government.
Xiangmin Li, COFN’s first director and calligrapher, represented the artists participating in the calligraphy and painting gathering, encouraging young people to learn and carry forward the art of Literati calligraphy and painting.
Mr. Ringo Chen from the Canadian Art Appreciation Association and Ms. Hong Chen from the North American Asia Cultural Association represented co-organizing institutions and extended their congratulations.
Next, new-generation MCs Amira Qianchen Yi and Jackie Lu introduced Su Fang, President of the Atlantic Calligraphy Association, who gave a special lecture on calligraphy art to the audience.
The children’s poetry recitation performances featured:
– “Beautiful Odes of the Book of Songs” by Jin Yufei
– “Four Spring Poems” by Li Siyuan
– “Song of Wine” by Wang Zi
– “Modern and Classical Essays” by Wang Wen
– “Remembrance of Red Cliffs” by Fu Aimei.
This year’s tea ceremony focused on the Song Dynasty style, with Ms. Wen Lijie from Ming Tea’s Training introducing the Song Dynasty tea-making tradition, “Dian Cha,” paying homage to an aesthetic way of life. As she described the grace and aesthetics of the tea art, she conveyed the inner journey of spiritual cultivation and enlightenment that was valued by people of the Song Dynasty. Accompanied by the Southern Song classic *Xiao Xiang Shui Yun* played by guqin artist Yanyan Zhu, Wen Lijie showcased the Four Elegances: incense burning, flower arranging, paintings hanging, and tea making, offering the audience a meditative tea art performance.
Yanyan Zhu continued to delight the audience with *Liang Xiao Yin,* composed by General He Ruobi of the Sui and Tang dynasties, and *Ping Sha Luo Yan,* popular during the Ming Dynasty.
In the city hall, Xiangmin Li’s calligraphy exhibition and the children’s painting exhibition attracted numerous visitors, showcasing calligraphy, seal engraving, and hand-drawn artwork demonstrations that were very well-received.
The hall was imbued with a romantic atmosphere thanks to Chen Zhuo’s piano performance.
The festival with the theme of “Simply Arts”continues to host an online poetry recital and a painting competition, which will accept submissions until October 31.

On November 3, a grand classical music concert and award ceremony will be held at the Flato Markham Theatre, bringing together local artists in traditional Literati music, symphonic music, classical dance, martial arts, and other performing arts, showcasing a splendid fusion of world cultural heritage and contemporary art. The festival’s goal is to carry forward the Literati culture within the community, establishing it as a prominent part of Canada’s cultural scene.
Participating co-organizers for the performances include Toronto Ya-Yue Art Center, Hongfeng Chinese Orchestra, CAST Youth Symphony Orchestra, MOMA Art Center, MK Singing School, Dan Drama Chinese Theater, Xiaolei Pipa Studio, and other arts education institutions.
The 9th Age of Literati Cultural Festival’s “Simply Arts”concert will be held on November 3, 6:30–8:30 p.m. at the Flato Markham Theatre.
