         今年环球华语歌唱比赛主题为＂唱响维也纳金色大厅＂。来自纽约_美国赛区、东京_日本赛区、罗马_意大利赛区、香港_中国赛区和多伦多、魁北克_加拿大赛区等获奖选手将被邀请至音乐家梦寐以求的著名音乐殿堂——维也纳金色大厅，参加第三届环球华语歌唱比赛全球总决赛和颁奖音乐会。这是继 2024 年环球华语歌唱比赛香港亚洲电视台总决赛获得圆满成功及美国纽约时代广场巨型屏幕首次呈现国际评委及获奖选手们的风采之后，环球华语歌唱比赛组委会又一个”史无前例”的巨献。 

         2025 年第三届环球华语歌唱比赛多伦多加拿大赛区打破了以往北美华人社区举办歌唱比赛之规模，除场地选于专业的 George Weston Recital Hall 音乐厅外，整个比赛音乐将由多伦多音乐学院管弦乐团为参赛选手及百人合唱团伴奏，以磅礴的气势演奏经典乐章，唱响家传户晓的中国名曲，实属开创举办同类活动之先河。 

         中华⽂化源远流⻑，各个朝代流传下来的诗词歌赋浩瀚如烟，将古代华夏⼤地建构成⽂学与⾳乐的艺术王国。翻开近代中国⾳乐史，看到⻄⽅的作曲理论与技法的流⼊，从⽽催 ⽣了⼀批⼜⼀批优秀的作曲家和⺠族⾳乐作品。无论是歌剧作品、艺术歌曲、⺠歌创作、流 ⾏⾳乐、合唱体裁及儿童歌咏作品，在当代中国都呈现出百花⿑放、欣欣向荣的景象！

The 3rd Global Chinese Song Singing Competition Toronto – Canada Division

Hosted by the International Artists Music and Dance Association and co-organized by the Toronto School of Music, the press conference for the 3rd Global Chinese Song Singing Competition – Toronto, Canada Division will take place on May 16, 2025, at the Toronto School of Music.

This year’s Winners’ concert will be held at Golden Hall. Award-winning contestants from the New York (USA), Tokyo (Japan), Rome (Italy), Hong Kong (China), and Toronto and Quebec (Canada) divisions will be invited to perform at the world-renowned Golden Hall in Vienna – a dream stage for musicians – to participate in the global winner’s concert of the 3rd Global Chinese Song Singing Competition. Following the great success of the 2024 finals in Hong Kong, broadcast by Asia Television Limited, and the competition’s historic debut on the billboard in New York’s Times Square, the Committee is once again presenting a spectacular and unprecedented global event.

The competition of the 2025 Toronto-Canada division sets a new benchmark for Chinese singing competitions in the North American Chinese community. In addition to being held at the professional George Weston Recital Hall, the Toronto School of Music Orchestra and more than 100 members will accompany the competition. Together, they will perform classic masterpieces and beloved Chinese songs with grandeur and passion – a pioneering effort in the history of similar events.

Chinese culture has a rich and enduring legacy. The poetry, lyrics, and musical works passed down through generations have turned ancient China into a true kingdom of literature and music. In modern times, the introduction of Western composition theory and techniques has inspired generations of talented composers and an abundance of exceptional Chinese musical works. From operas and art songs to folk music, pop songs, chorus works, and children’s music, contemporary Chinese music is thriving in a vibrant and diverse landscape.

The mission of the 3rd Global Chinese Song Singing Competition in 2025 is to promote Chinese culture and the voice of China.

Key Dates:

• June 12, 2025 (Thursday): Deadline for preliminary round video submissions
• June 13, 2025 (Friday): Announcement of semifinal results
• June 14, 2025 (Saturday): Semifinals, hold at Toronto School of Music
